Serving as the Artistic Director of the prestigious Jerusalem International Jazz Festival, he brings this visionary leadership to both his curatorial work and his global performances.

Over his remarkable career, Nitai has performed at legendary venues worldwide from the Village Vanguard and the Barbican Centre to the Montreux Jazz Festival and Vienna Konzerthaus. He spent five intense years as a core member and musical director of the Avishai Cohen Trio, recording critically acclaimed albums for Blue Note, EMI, and Razdaz. Beyond his jazz roots, he co-founded the genre-defying quartet Apifera on Stones Throw Records, blending organic harmonies and cinematic soundscapes, and released his celebrated solo piano masterwork, Call on the Old Wise, on ECM Records - recorded in Auditorio Stelio Molo RSI, Lugano and produced by Manfred Eicher
